I have a sneaky suspicion that my PC is about to die on me.

It's just a hunch, but the fact that it tells me "CMOS Battery Failure", "CMOS Checksum Error" and "CMOS Time Not Set" every time I turn it on, makes me suspect that there's something fishy going on.

It's over six years old, so I guess it could be time to change the battery.

*** EDIT ***
I thought about it after going to bed last night, and it's not six years old.
It's almost four years old.
*** EDIT ***

But should I buy a new battery or should I buy a new computer.

I don't like the new thing called Vista, maybe I should buy a Mac or even build a machine with Linux.
But if I do that, will I be able to play World of Warcraft, and all the other games I waste spend most of my time playing.

Decisions, decisions...
