There and back again

My summer vacation is over, and I'm back at work. (which I find increasingly boring)

I flew up to my mother, where I spent almost a week.
We visited the grandparents one day.
Spent two days clearing out our summer cottage, since my mother's finally decided to sell it.
I also slept a lot.

Then we drove down to my sisters place, where we spent a few days lazying about.
My mother went home and my sister, her son, and me drove down to Stockholm.
We picked up my brother-in-law along the way. He had entered the swedish knife-championship with two of his knives. (He does lovely scrimshaw). He only won three first prizes, one for each knife and one was "the audience prize", the best looking knife according to the people at the competition.

They stayed at my place for a week and we did sightseeing. I saw the Vasa for the first time in years, but my sister had pity on me and I was allowed to stay home the day they spent at the amusement park. I also finished the last Harry Potter book during their stay, (I think Rowling took the easy way out)

When they left I had a whole week on my own. I remember going to IKEA twice, first time to choose what furniture I was going to order over the internet. Second time to buy the stuff that they didn't sell over the internet. Other than that I don't really know what I did. I think "We *heart* Katamari" and "Lego Star Wars" took up most of my time, but it could also have been some kind of time warp. The only thing I'm sure about is that it ended to quickly.

  • I changed my mind

I've bought pen and paper and started to keep a journal. Writing there is better that writing here, so no more posts about me, myself and I.

  • Childhood part 1

I had a happy childhood. I lived in a tiny village in the northern part of Sweden, with my parents, one older brother and one younger sister. When…

  • Exercise is good for you

Just a quick note tonight. Loads of anxiety today, so I bought a sandwich and had a "walking" lunch. Two immediate results: Pain in my hips…
